Vision:

                  Nurturing Joyful and Loving Childhood for a peaceful society

Mission:

1.  We intend to support and promote parenting in such dimensions of physical, mental-emotional, social & spiritual wellbeing which contributes to our vision of loving and joyful childhood and leads to peaceful coexistence in society and world at large.
2. We define good parenting to include not only biological parents but also elders, immediately related people the teachers and the community and the society as a whole who influence the children for childhood) in any form.

We see that parenting can meet our vision by promoting and providing following for children:

1. Loving and joyful environment at home, school and in the surrounding.
2. Care and protection.
3. Basic physical needs of food, water, and shelter.
4. Safety, security and good healthy living,
5. Belonging or unconditional love,
6. Self-esteem,
7. Personal fulfilment & self actualization and finally,
8. Freedom, participation and justice.

We visualise the following as the outcome of this mission:

We propose following objectives and actions to achieve this mission :

1. Awareness of the society about the importance of loving and joyful childhood
2. Capacity building of parents, teachers and children.
3. Counselling of parents, teachers and children wherever needed
4. Preparing, compiling and gathering relevant literature
5. Dissemination of information.
6. Setting up counselling centres
7. Setting up resource centres
8. Developing linkages with people and organisations working in this field.
9. Providing platform for the people and organisations working in this field.
10. Awarding people doing good work.
11. Showcasing, disseminating and promoting best practices
12. Create conducive environment for identifying and nurturing inherent talent in every child.
13. Advocacy at various levels
14. Providing backup resources to people working in the area.
15. Incorporating good scientific parenting as major topic in courses of psychology, human development, general graduations
16. Setting up certificate trainings in good parenting counseling
17. Fostering self-support groups of parents
18. Coordinating with child help lines
19. Promoting innovations and research
